Motor Fleet
The company currently runs a top range fleet which includes two surveillance jeeps, (four hi viz, one covert) which include high quality up to date cameras and tracking systems and ten patrol vans. All vans are equipped with mobile phones, tracking and radio systems. All vehicles in our fleet are serviced regularly.

Sentry Security utilises the latest technology to provide a quality, cost-effective security solution to its customers. These include the following:
Checkpoint Patrol System
Sentry Security has set up the “Checkpoint” Patrol System on a number of client sites. This involves the use of a small hand-held recorder that the security personnel must register at various pre-determined locations about the client property. A schedule of patrol check-points and times is agreed with the client and the checkpoint system records these clock-ins. A number of reports are then generated by the system using the data collected.
This system is invaluable to both Sentry Security and our clients, as it allows the company to control and monitor employee activities as well as providing customers with an accurate record of the patrol duties undertaken.
Teleye CCTV System
Patrol vehicles which have the Teleye CCTV system on board can be supplied for both overt and covert surveillence . Both the contractor and the client have access to this system and can view either live footage or playback and download the footage to disc immediately. There are two cameras in each vehicle to provide backup should one camera fail.
Fleetmatics Vehicle Monitoring System
Sentry Security utilises the most up-to-date Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system to monitor the movement of all mobile patrol vehicles.“Fleetmatics” is a tracking device that provides real time information on vehicle position and status using text messaging to mobile phones. The “Fleetmatics” device is attached to each mobile patrol van. The device is able to precisely locate itself using in-built GPS system. It then reports back to the Control Room via the mobile phone network.
This technology is invaluable to Sentry Security as it facilitates the monitoring and control of our patrol fleet as well as providing accurate proof of delivery of our mobile patrol services to customers.
